Aunt Marci, Uncle B and Baby Jack

That is how my kiddos refer to this family… no relation but they might as well be :)  They are the kind of friends that you hope to keep for life.  The kind of friends that are there for you when children are born, and attend every birthday party.  The kind of friends that you know you’ll someday be inviting to your children’s graduations and weddings.  The kind of friends that YOU MISS WHEN YOU DON”T GET TO SEE THEM ENOUGH!!! hint hint ;)  Thanks for being such awesome friends…

Are they hot or what!?!

Loving being swung by mommy n daddy!!

I recognize this kind of half smile… it’s the same smile I get from my son when he’s just done something he’s not supposed to and he gives me this “but I’m too cute to be punished” smile… and it works…

Love you guys :)

I’m back!

I’m back, I’m alive and I’m behind on editing my fall family photos… sorry for the lack of posts to my three readers :)  I had a great trip to Louisiana, and learned quite a bit- but enough about me!!  I do have a few fall photos to show… this family was so much fun- they laughed, played and endured the rapidly dropping temperature this fall afternoon.  We started out with a more traditional fall portrait but of course threw some fun ones in there… which are always my favorites!

I love that Emma was all about having her picture taken… “shy” is not a word she’ll hear often ;)  here was the result when I asked for some funny faces!

more of Emma… this time playing in the leaves

Thanks for hanging out with me Robin, John and Emma- it was great meeting you :)

LA here I come!

Lousiana that is… I’m getting ready to leave tomorrow on a trip with these amazing photographers:

www.idcphotography.com

They were kind enough to invite me to tag along for a work week in the life of Maura and Bruce… I’m so excited to learn from such amazing artists.  I will admit I’m a tad bit anxious about leaving my kids for a week… it’s not that I’m nervous about their well-being because Patrick is an amazing Dad.  Is there such thing as separation anxiety for moms ?!?

So I’m not sure what my access to internet will be- so this may be it until next week… when I’ll have a tonof images to catch you up on!

So this has been my absolute favorite fall session thus far… sorry… it’s my own kids-  they trump all other images in my eyes because they are my own ;)

So we started out on the playground… I loved the light behind Weston on the slide

my sweet smiling daughter Avery

this may be my most favorite picture of Weston ever

and then we went on a hike where Avery made a huge collection of yellow leaves

See ya when I get back!
