So I came across this session as I was backing up all my files and realized I never blogged it! and so even though I took these photos back in March I still wanted to post them because I had some definite favorites… and I like to share favorites.

Livy and her baby sister Morgan were such sweet little angels…

Can I hold her? Looking at this picture reminds me of when my babies would fall asleep in my arms… and I’d think “ya know… I really should put her down and get some things done around the house…  but naaa”

A friend of mine has decided to open her home to foster newborns.  Her and her husband are graciously giving up sleep for these babies during the waiting period before they are either given to their new adoptive family or the biological family decides to parent.  It is an understatement to say that these situations need prayer… lots of prayer that these new lives will be in hands that will cherish them.  

Lea Ann agreed to let me photograph the babies during this time, as a gift to the parents that are missing some of these precious first days of life…

this snuggly hat was handmade by another friend… thanks Julie!!and what would a baby post be without some 4 day old teensy feet!!  still all peel-ly from hanging out in womb too long

Here is a sneak peek from a recent session.  This family was a blast!  I swear we spent just as much time talking as we did taking photos… I love feeling like I walked away with new friends

The bassinet Jackson is in has been handed down for three generations!  so we got some special pictures in it…

All my babies are growing up!!  and I’m talking about my babies I’ve photographed… so many have turned one this year!! Little man Zach is too sweet…  I love his big blue and eyes and soft blond curls!!

His momma Lauren picked this black and white one as a big canvas for her wall… it looked awesome!! 
this one makes me wanna go pick up my kids and hold them tight… while I still can…
